Work Experience
Work experience can be great way to bulk up your CV and get a better understanding of what a certain industry is like in a more hands-on way. Employers like to see that a prospective candidate has previous experience in a relevant field and often demand it from applicants, especially in the creative industries. Work experience often isn't paid so you'll have to make sure you're financially sorted but they can cover travel expenses so check before you apply. In a time when jobs are hard to get because of recession an experienced candidate's CV will always look far more appealing to potential employers.
