Job-hunting via mobile phone is now a physical possibility. Androids, iPhones and other gadgets have changed the way young graduates can find and apply for jobs. Anyone can find out about new opportunities whilst on the train, or even lounging in bed, so there’s no need to ever miss anything again.
The rankings on this page are the result of a survey by Potentialpark of over 31,000 students and graduate worldwide, looking at which apps and mobile sites they use when job-hunting.
Mobile recruitment is still in its infancy, and some company are better than others at providing up-to-date career advice and opportunities online. Global management consultant Accenture, voted best for
mobile career websites and apps in Potentialpark’s report, shows what’s possible, providing an app on which you can search for positions, take career quizzes and find out facts in your area, all from your smartphone. It won’t be long before more firms follow suit.
