There are around 13, 000 companies employing almost 250,000 individuals in the UK’s world-beating advertising industry. IPA member agencies recruit new graduates every
year and there are over 20,100 individuals working in IPA member agencies, with 76% of these being found in London, 20% outside of London in the England and 3% in Scotland.
However, there are also opportunities beyond the graduate schemes into agencies, with advertising employing around a quarter of a million people in the UK. A number of advertising agencies offer internships or work experience opportunities and graduate training schemes including: AMV Academy,
