Whether you're interested in a graduate job in media, technology or medicine, the opportunities for a career in sales are limitless. There are different ways of selling and it's important to find a company that matches your personality. Roles can be internal or field-based.
The ample rewards are what attract lots of graduates to a career in sales, and even though a graduate might only expect a salary of around £16-18,000 basic in their first year, this can be substantially increased by commission payments, which are dependent on your sales performance and company-specific criteria. Graduates who perform well might also find their basic salary increasing after just 6 months.
