TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The competition is open to any student in any year including final year students at UK universities. Postgraduate students are not eligible.

2. No purchase necessary. Entrants may be subject to local call charges depending on their individual arrangements for internet access.

3. Only one entry per person.

4. Competition starts December 2009 and closes 12th April 2010.

5. A short-list of candidates will be drawn up. Entrants must be available for:

  • Telephone interviews
  • The awards ceremony in London in September 2010

6. The total prize for Enterprising Student of the Year consists of 5 remunerated summer internships. Tthe internships will last between eight and twelve weeks and will take place during summer 2010 at any of Enterprise’s 340 plus locations around the UK and up to £5,000 which will be divided between the best entries. Winner and finalists agree to have their names and photographs printed in Real World and other media.

For the Student Personality of the Year award the prize fund will be £2,000.

Each month we will review the entries we will receive. The best entries will be put forward for an internship. If no entries are received that are deemed to be of an appropriate standard then no internship will be awarded that month.

7. No responsibility can be accepted for any technical, hardware or software failures which limit or prohibit online entry. Failure of an entry to be delivered by the date or in the manner specified will make the entry invalid.

8. Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. Entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

10. By entering Enterprising Student of the Year you agree to being contacted directly by ERAC regarding Internships.

11. Enterprising Student of the Year  competition not open to Real World or Enterprise Rent-A-Car employees, their families, agents or any other persons connected with the competition.

12. Competition co-ordinators: Real World, 22-26 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TJ.

13. Your personal data will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
