ABOUT THIS EMPLOYER
You're in your final year at university. So what do you want to do next?
Many graduates want to go into management roles with responsibility, structured training and excellent career prospects. We can offer you all that - and more - in the RAF, and with a wide range of careers to choose from. We don't have specific jobs for graduates only, but our management roles as an RAF officer are particularly attractive to graduates.
Becoming an RAF officer
If you become an RAF officer, you'll get professional skills just like your civilian counterparts. Except that, in the RAF, you'll have real responsibility from the outset.
Charli Fenn
Engineer Officer
'I'm responsible for 72 people and millions of pounds worth of aircraft... There's no way I'd have this level of responsibility on a civilian graduate recruitment scheme.'
Many of our officer jobs also have enhanced pay and promotion for graduates. And officer salaries start at a minimum of £21,940 following your initial training - with many a good deal higher.
Our 32-week Initial Officer Training course will stretch and develop you, but that is just the beginning. You'll have regular training and assessment throughout your career in the RAF. And you'll get plenty of opportunity to obtain further professional qualifications.
The RAF also offers sixth form and university sponsorship for some potential officers.
See the section on what we offer to find out more about sponsorship, pay and other benefits of being an RAF officer.
