Exciting new Business Placement opportunities within Human Resources at PwC

About PwC
We help our clients and our people create the value they want. We work alongside our clients - from public and private companies to governments and charities - to measure, protect and enhance the things that matter most to them. We have big ambitions to grow, and if you're serious about a career in business, we don't think anyone else can give you a better start. Students agree: we’re proud, based on the opportunity we offer, they’ve voted us number one in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey for the last eight years.

What we offer
If you need to complete a placement as part of your degree and you’re in your penultimate year, don’t miss our new Business Placement opportunities within our Human Capital (HC) function. Join us for an 11 month Business Placement based in our London or Birmingham offices and gain an extensive insight into our HC Function.

The HC group sits within our Internal Firm Services business unit and is responsible for providing generalist HC support across our business which is comprised of over 16,000 UK employees across 35 offices. The HC team acts as liaison, advisor and facilitator between the business and specialist HC support teams, allowing PwC to operate effectively to meet its people agenda. Working in a constantly changing environment, the team responds to new market developments and continually supporting the needs of the wider business.

Your primary focus will be on supporting the team’s daily activities and workflow in order to manage the delivery of the day to day business priorities. You’ll take on administrator responsibilities for one of our dedicated HC functions which include: Learning and Development; Student Hire; Global Mobility and the Knowledge & Information Team.

What you need
- To be on course for at least a 2:1 or above in any degree discipline
- A UCAS tariff of at least 300 (or equivalent)
- Equally important will be your ability to build relationships, to put yourself in others’ shoes and make a positive impact on our clients and us, while shaping your own future.

Exceptional exam results or exceptional potential?
But maybe you don’t have the grades we’re after because you’ve invested time in extra-curricular activities that show you’re exceptional. If so, you could still join us. ‘Inspired Talent’ is a new entry route that recognises exam results aren’t the only way to prove you have potential.
