Graduate Jobs - Insight Business Placement Programme with PwC 2012 @ PwC

Company PwC
Insight Business Placement Programme with PwC - 2012

About PwC
Be part of something special. Join the organisation that’s been voted number one in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey for the last eight years. You’ll enjoy exceptional business exposure, build wide-ranging skills and life-long relationships, and gain valuable professional qualifications.

About the Insight business placement programme

Work on real projects, learn about our business and get exposure to a prestigious client list. These six and eleven month placements in Assurance or Financial Advisory are for students who need to complete a placement as part of their degree. You could even sit a selection of professional accounting exams and leave with a full-time job offer.

You'll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on everyday projects. So you’ll get a good insight into working life at PwC. Our 11-month business placements start in September and are available at offices across the UK. While our six-month placement starts in February in London.

It doesn't matter what degree course you're studying, but you must have a good academic record and be able to show how you've used your initiative and team-working skills. You should also have thoroughly researched the area of PwC you'd like to join.

What you’d do
You'll do the same work and benefit from the same training as our first-year graduate recruits, contributing to a range of client projects as part of a highly skilled team. The work can be intense at times - but you’ll have plenty of fun, not forgetting competitive rewards, along the way.

Your training and development
Hopefully your placement will be the first step towards a full-time career with us. In some areas, you may even be able to start working towards your professional qualifications during the programme, returning to complete your exams once you've graduated.

What makes us different
In short, this is your chance to enjoy a huge variety of experiences, develop an enormous breadth of skills and build relationships that will stay with you throughout your life. Like all PwC people, you can also look forward to a competitive salary and a personally tailored benefits package.

Who we look for
- On course for a 2:1 or above in any degree discipline
- A UCAS tariff of at least 300 (or equivalent)

Equally important will be your ability to build relationships, to put yourself in others’ shoes and make a positive impact on our clients and us, while shaping your own future.
