nucleargraduates is a ground-breaking new graduate scheme run by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Rolls-Royce, Sellafield Ltd and Magnox as well as over 20 other industry stakeholders.

This two year programme consists of three secondments; in government, on-site, in the private sector supply chain or regulatory authority. 50% of graduates will have the opportunity of going on an international secondment.

It’s fully backed with professional support to move you towards professional qualifications with bodies such as the IMECHE, ICE, CIPD, CIM via a structured programme supported by mentors and training.
On top of that you spend 10% of your time dedicated to the footprints programme - you will work with local schools, groups and businesses to give something back to the communities in which you’re based.

Candidate Profile: Candidates must be keen learners who can influence people through their attitude and actions.

Mobility, adaptability and tenacity are critical for this role. We are looking for people who are actively seeking adventure and the challenge of moving into roles from the foot of Devon to the tip of Scotland via villages and cities in between.

Most importantly we are looking for people who can achieve real results while showing humility as an individual and in a team environment.
Minimum Eligibility Requirement Engineering graduates must have an attained or expected result of 2:2 or above.
Location: Placements will be across the UK and overseas.
Security Requirements: Candidates will be subject to Office of Civil Nuclear Security (OCNS) Clearance Checks.
Salary: Starting salary will be circa £23,500.

Application Process
Candidates must complete the online application form by clicking “Apply Now”. Successful applicants will then be invited to complete online numerical and verbal tests. The next stage of the application process consists of a telephone interview followed by a two-day assessment centre that will assess candidates across a range of competencies. After the selection process has been completed successful candidates will be made a formal offer on to the nucleargraduates programme.
