New eBook Reveals How to Travel for Free with TEFL!
Travelling the world and experiencing new cultures for free almost sounds too good to be true, but that’s exactly what teaching English as a foreign language can offer. Most people, however, are wary about dropping everything to head on a TEFL adventure and have no idea how to even start teaching English abroad. Now though, a new, free eBook offers a step-by-step guide to travelling and working in exciting destinations all over the world with TEFL, so potential teacher-travellers can decide
whether or not it’s for them.
‘TEFL Uncovered: How to Teach Your Way Abroad with TEFL’ lifts the lid on the entire TEFL industry, dispelling myths about teaching English abroad and taking people on a guided tour of the TEFL world, without even having to leave their seat. The book covers different course options (including whether a TEFL course is really necessary), where the best job opportunities are, how to get that all-important first TEFL job and how to be a great teacher once abroad! It’s not just a book to read either –
it includes quizzes, activities and sections for people to write down their thoughts about teaching abroad.
While commissioned by TEFL course provider i-to-i, ‘TEFL Uncovered’ was written by James Jenkins, an expert tutor with over 15 years’ experience of teaching English as a foreign language. With his extensive experience, as well as ten years’ spent working as a teacher-trainer on Cambridge CELTA TEFL courses and i-to-i’s classroom TEFL courses, James truly understands the needs, fears and hopes of people entering the TEFL world.
Kathleen Kane, 46, who teaches English in Inner Mongolia, China, said: “TEFL Uncovered would be my first recommendation to anyone considering becoming a TEFL teacher – it’s just a shame it wasn't about for me!”
Lyndsey Conway, a TEFL teacher working in Poland, said: “This book gives an honest and informative outline as to what one can expect on the TEFL teaching journey. It includes some nice questions for someone to reflect on before venturing out, like how they might deal with certain conditions,
contracts and lifestyle adaptations”
Those who want to see if teaching English abroad is right for them should visit i-to-i’s website to download their FREE copy of ‘TEFL Uncovered: How To Teach Your Way Abroad with TEFL’ today!
