300,000 students will graduate this summer. If you are one of them (or are a recent graduate) and you are wondering how to stand out from the crowd in the recruitment market then this workshop is for you.

At the workshop you will:
- Work out exactly what an employer is looking for in their job adverts and assessment process
- Learn how to improve your CV and job applications to give them the maximum impact
- Learn how to shine at interviews and stand out at assessment centres

Why World Wide and Real World bring together two experts in the field of Graduate Recruitment, Talent Management, and Leadership Development to provide you with the skills and awareness to improve your chances of success and stand out from the crowd.
Places are limited (50) to ensure all attendees receive individual attention

The experts:
Andrew Armes
spent 10 years in Human Resources, becoming an industry leader and award winner in the field of Recruitment and Talent Management, before setting up his own business in 2007. He introduced the first ever fully automated graduate recruitment and assessment system in the UK at Cable and Wireless, before becoming Head of Talent and Resourcing at AstraZeneca. He has worked for FTSE 100 companies in Retail, Banking, Pharmaceuticals, Telecoms and Engineering. Andrew understands what employers want and how they get it from their graduate recruitment, selection and development programs. A regular conference speaker, he most recently chaired the 2009 CIPD Talent Management conferences. He is currently running in the European Elections as an Independent MEP for the East of England, and about to publish his first book.

Darius Norell founded Real World in 1999 to help prepare students for life after university. By delivering honest and independent advice, Real World established itself as one of the leading sources of information for graduates. Tens of thousands of graduates have signed up to receive online job alerts at www.realworldmagazine.com and several thousand students have attended Real World's career seminars and workshops. In the last couple of years he has worked on a number of projects for clients such as Channel 4, Orange, and Barclays looking at the identification of graduate talent and how it can best be nurtured and supported in organisations. Darius is a regular speaker to businesses, business schools and education on entrepreneurship, learning, and development, and most recently ran a master class at the 2009 Association of Graduate Recruiters Development conference.
