The Role

The RM Services Product Management team is responsible for ensuring that the Company continues to offer a range of innovative, competitively priced support and service products to our customers.


Responsibilities

- Manage and develop a number of services within the product portfolio
- Research current and future customer needs, and create, justify and implement product introduction and launch plans to meet these needs
- Take responsibility for the long-term product revenue and margin plan
- Devise marketing and communication strategies and materials to promote and support your product portfolio

Training and Development

We offer an excellent range of courses covering specific technical skills, as well as some designed to improve skills important for this role, for example negotiation and presentation skills.

We encourage you to study towards Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and will pay course fees and provide study leave.


Future Progression

As your experience grows you will take on more product responsibility and a wider portfolio. This may lead to taking on a hardware or software portfolio, and in the longer term the management of a group of Product Managers.


Qualifications and Experience

A 2:1 or first class honours degree in a marketing, business or computer related degree.

260 UCAS tariff points or equivalent.

In addition you will have:

- Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
- Influencing skills
- A genuine interest in the needs of our customers
- Excellent planning organising skills
- Tenacity
- A results driven approach

Preferred experience will include:

- Relevant work experience in a marketing/product management environment
