Are You Socially Responsible?

Our Ethical Fortnight

It’s not too late to enter!

The Real World Awards 2008 Socially Responsible Student of the Year Award, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, celebrates those who dare to care. Our winner might have:

- carried out volunteer work in the UK or abroad, from teaching English to collecting donations

- got involved with a student charity, such as RAG

- helped to focus attention on an important issue, whether environmental or social

- made a difference to fellow students’ lives, perhaps by campaigning on student issues or getting involved in student politics

- worked on green issues, such as reducing your carbon footprint and encouraging recycling

- organised talks on ethical issues

- got involved in a major campaign, such as One World Week

- helped out on your university’s access programme

- done something totally different – surprise us!

If you win, we’ve got £5,000 to put towards a project you’re passionate about.

To  enter, simply log on to www.realworldawards.com, answer four simple questions and upload a photo or short video. Submit your entry today – it couldn’t be easier! The Deadline for entries is 4th July 2008.

 A word from our sponsors…

‘At PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP we believe good business performance is about having a positive effect on society, the economy, the environment and the wider community. We are therefore proud to be sponsoring the award for Socially Responsible Student of the Year.’
