Graduate News - The American Dream
The American Dream
How would you like to get a head start in one of the most competitive creative industries by spending time living in another country? This might sound too good to be true, but you could make it happen. Fulbright Awards provide funding for study at US institutions, and they've just announced this year's Awards for journalism and film.
Fulbright - UK Film Council Film Award 2009 - 2010
Up to £35,000 (plus health insurance, university application and test fees) for a Masters in Film Directing, Screenplay, Production, Cinematography or Film Business at any accredited US institution. The award is open to all - although female and ethnic minority applicants are particularly encouraged to apply - and covers the first year of study. The Fulbright Commission and the Institute of International Education (based in New York) will offer help and support to the successful candidate in finding the right US university and course.
