Enetrprise Feautured Employer

We might be an international car rental company with a multi-billion pound turnover. But more importantly, we're an industry-leading business that knows what to do with your talent. We don't want to nurture your expertise with a kettle or foster a positive working relationship between you and the photocopier. You'll learn everything you need to know, from Sales and Marketing to Customer Service and Finance...

FEATURED EMPLOYER

Company Nestle
Industrial Improvement Engineer

At Nestlé, we're not shy of telling people that we're looking for the leaders of the future, grads who can think on their feet and impress left, right and centre as they take our business further than ever before. But whether you aim to become one of those leaders or not, you can rely on the fact that our Production and Technical environments are places where you'll achieve great things faster than you ever thought possible.

If you're a graduate in engineering, science or food technology, ideally with a minimum of a year's work experience (e.g. sandwich year or post graduate experience), then you could be working with big brands in a new role right here at Nestle. As an Internal Manufacturing Consultant, you'll specialise in performance improvement by visiting factories around the country and project managing solutions to manufacturing, engineering, operations and production issues.

Day to day you'll work closely with senior management as you investigate the issues, provide technical support, provide business models and help implement changes. But making those improvements won't be down to just good engineering, you'll need great people skills too and will have the credibility and gravitas to influence and engage at all levels from shopfloor upwards. In return you'll have the satisfaction of improving the performance of factories that produce, Kit Kat, Nescafe and many more key brands.

This is a high profile opportunity you won't find anywhere else. If you have the right motivation and experience, within 2 years you could be in a factory management position, or even a European role. You must therefore be mobile and flexible to travel both within the UK and further afield.
