FAST-MOVING CONSUMER GOODS
Think of a brand. If you’ve come up with Mars, Coca-Cola or Persil then you're talking about Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). This is a multi-million pound industry, incorporating many household products.
There are numerous graduate jobs available within this sector. Positions for graduates include selling, marketing and developing or managing a range of products.
Graduates often enter via training schemes and complete a number of placements in different business sectors. It is one of the most competitive areas for graduate schemes, with over 120 applicants per graduate role in 2005.
