Essex, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock Local Authorities working together invites primary and secondary NQTs to apply for inclusion on a centrally-held database which is made available online to all local schools. From primaries in country villages to large secondary schools in major centres, our schools are varied and interesting. But we need great teachers to bring these schools to life for an audience of 200,000 students.

There are 570 schools in Essex, and 55 schools in both Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock and our size and diversity means we’ve got something for everyone. What’s more, we have a dynamic approach to teaching that we think new teachers will find exciting. We’re looking for people with ability and imagination.
