eFinancialCareers

The interactive Student Centre on eFinancialCareers.com is for students who are keen to pursue a career in the financial markets. Its aim: to give students – applying for investment banking, fund management and financial services internships and graduate programmes – the tools, advice and information they need to stand out from the crowd.

Features include:

  1. Numerical Tests – practise online real time simulations with equal severity of tests companies use in their assessment centres.
  2. Deadlines Diary – a comprehensive list of key application deadlines for internships and graduate training schemes for each of the top City players available from September – March 2007/08.
  3. Careers in Financial Markets – annual publication focussing on careers in banking and finance. The publication is available in universities, business schools and downloadable from eFinancialCareers.com from mid September 2007.
  4. Trading Games – Test your strengths against students from the most prestigious universities and business schools in Europe. With a £100,000 fantasy fund, you have one month to pit your wits in the financial markets. Success will see you rewarded with great prizes and career enhancing opportunities.

These tools are joining with the Student Centre's already popular content offerings, including advice on how to land an internship or graduate training programme, top tips from insiders, career paths in investment banking, a jargon buster on the best banking terms and an introduction to different banking sectors.
