ABOUT THIS EMPLOYER

85% of officer cadets at Sandhurst have graduated from university. The Infantry recognises the benefits a university education can give and has financial packages in place to aid those who commit to an Army career whilst they are still in full time education. There are two financial packages, the scholarship subsidises you through Sixth Form whilst the bursary helps you when you get to University. Competition for both is fierce, so if you know the Infantry is for you, apply as soon as you can. For more information speak to your Army Careers Advisor or visit your nearest careers office.

For those at University, the University Officer Training Corps (UOTC) provides basic training in an environment geared to university timetables. The UOTCs give you the opportunity to meet like minded people, many of whom you will meet again during the course of your Army career . It also enables you to get involved in Adventure Training, exchanges, competitions and regimental visits.
