If you are a 2nd year graphic design student graduating in 2010, design agency Coley Porter Bell, along with newsdesign magazine, is offering an opportunity that should not be passed up.
SHINE 2009, this year’s instalment of the annual design competition aimed to develop future top designers, is now open. The contest offers an outstanding platform for students to present their work. Winners receive a three-month paid work placement at Coley Porter Bell and 3000.
Coley Porter Bell will invite selected candidates to the agency to present their portfolios. From those candidates, 10 finalists will be chosen to design a poster for next year’s competition and the winner will be announced at a reception this fall sponsored by Chivas Brothers.
To enter, students must submit a piece of work displaying their unique abilities and talents to Sarah Ridley, Coley Porter Bell, 18 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W ODH by 19 June. Submissions must include the student’s name, address/tel number, mobile number and college.
